when i work on my reZEL, at first i wanted to change the backpack so i design something but end up no t using it (- -'').
anyway doing is my way of learning things, because you can't buy experiences.
1. first draw the design on a paper in the actual size.
its better if you draw it in different angle, since i'm not good at hand draw so i just draw it one side.
2.cut plaplate (here i used 1mm tamiya plaplate) for the base match it to the drawing
3.make two of them, for both side
4.cut plaplate for the 'width' part and glue it together
5.glue the other one, here i use tamiya cement so i had to press it together so it will jointed strong.
6.do the same for the lower base part.
7.check it with the drawing again
8.add some wings on it.
its still very base, for nicer looks you can add some detail such as adding kotobukiya MSG, plaplate layering and alot other detailing.
