Something Simple

Sometime when you want to paint your already modified kit, you got a hard time to do the paint because you need to do color separation.
indeed you can do masking, but for some people its a hard thing to do. and also for a beginner like me masking also bring some risk that the paint under ripped off because of the masking tape.
this is some of the way I know how to make a simple joint

SLOT

1. Part that will be attached
2. The position of the added part on the existing part
3. a.for this I stick 1mm plate an the back of the addition part
    b.cut the original part the same size as the small plate
4. Slot it in

note : when you cut the ori part, draw first on it with a pencil then you cut it smaller then your draw. then gradually try to fit it in.









PIN

1. this is (i thing) the most simple way to do
2.
a.drill a hole (more if you need) in this i use 2mm drill on the original part
b.put the added part and then mark it with a pencil from behind. cut a round beam or runner (diameter must be the same, in this case 2mm) glue it to the added part. you know the rest





Magnet

1.If you want to use neodymium magnet (rare earth magnet) to joint part with out glue it. this is how i do it.
2.glue the magnet on base part
3.check the position, if needed add plate to it. (make sure you check the thick of the magnet) then glue it
4.a.position on add part
   b.position on base part
